Sharvari Wagh has been doing pretty well in her journey through Bollywood. She is now fast becoming a talent in the arena, one who bears promise with her skills and dedication. Along with her family support, she is all set to make a mark in Indian cinema.
Sharvari Wagh was naturally drawn to the entertainment industry. She completed her schooling at The Dadar Parsee Youths Assembly High School, which provided her with a balanced education. She later graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from D.G. Ruparel College.
Sharvari’s father works in the building industry, while her mother, Namrata Wagh, is an architect. Her grandfather, Manohar Joshi, was a very important political figure in Maharashtra. He served as the Chief Minister and later became the 13th Speaker of the Lok Sabha. Sharvari is close to her little brother, Arnav, who has been a source of immense strength in her career.
Modeling and acting training:
Sharvari started modeling at the age of 16 and then finally won the Clean and Clear Fresh Face contest in 2013; this led to a couple of commercials. To polish her acting skills, she was enrolled in Jeff Goldberg's Studio for a nine-month acting course, wherein she attended weekend theatre workshops.
Assistant Director Experience
Sharvari, an assistant director, learned a lot behind the camera working for famous Bollywood films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Bajirao Mastani, and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. The position taught her a great deal about film-making.
Acting Career
Sharvari debuted on screen in 2020, portraying the character Maya in the Amazon Prime series The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye. She made her film debut with Bunty Aur Babli 2 in 2021, under the production banner of Yash Raj Films and received Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She next played in Munjya in 2024 as a comedy-horror, based on a popular Maharashtrian folktale, and later acted in Maharaj and Vedaa. She's also scheduled to appear in the YRF Spy Universe film, Alpha.
Personal Life and Net Worth
Sharvari claims to have no boyfriend; however, there was speculation that she dating fellow actor Sunny Kaushal, which she denies. She claims that the young man is just her friend. How much Sharvari has earned is not in the public domain but her successful career in the film world has seen it surged over time.
