Kalathilkuzhiyil Devadasan Dilin Nair, widely recognized by his stage name Raftaar, is an Indian rapper, lyricist, dancer, actor, TV personality, and music composer associated with Hindi and Punjabi music.

He began his career off as a dancer. He started his journey in the rap world in 2008 with Lil Golu and Young Amli (now Ikka), recording tracks and uploading them on social media. He later collaborated with Yo Yo Honey Singh in the band Mafia Mundeer. The artist left the group after failing to cope with loan and withdrawal issues. He later co-formed the group ‘The Titans’ with Badshah and Sachit Takkar alias Sachchh. Later, the trio was involved in quite a number of hits in the Punjabi music industry and Bollywood. He was later supported by Ankit Khanna and signed to Three Records label under Punjabi music group RDB. After a split between RDB members, Raftaar joined Manjit Raal, now recognized as Manj Music. She started her solo career in 2016 with Zee Music Company.

Career
Raftaar rose to fame in 2013 after "Swag Mera Desi" with Manj Music. He used a lot of profanity in one line: "Ab ye karke dikhao" in this song as a Yo Yo Honey Singh diss.The line "Ab yeh karke dikhao" had already been used in Yo Yo Honey Singh's song "Party With The Bhoothnath", which sparked a clash between the two rappers in the media "Swag Mera Desi" won Best City Song at the Brit Asian TV Music Awards in 2014. He is a champ soundtrack produced and played a rap track. In the second edition of the Breezer Vivid Shuffle, Raftar joined Varun Dhawan in a live performance for the final stage.
