She did her schooling at Sophia High School before moving to Bangalore for college. She modelled with her education in Bangalore. She knew she wanted to be an actress from the start.
While modelling in 2014, she competed in the Miss Mangaluru beauty competition, where she received the Miss Mangaluru title after beating competitors from all across the city. She rose to popularity after winning this beauty competition, and she then contested in the Miss South India competition in 2015.
In this competition, too, she was the first runner-up due to her physical appeal, beating out applicants from all around the country. Neha is also an excellent dancer, receiving instruction from famed fashion choreographer MS Sridhar. She made her cinematic debut in 2016 with the part of Nandini in the Kannada film Mungaru Male 2.
