Humans have been worshipping and believing in God for years now. Right? The customs and beliefs differ from people to people due to the diverse culture that the world has. Every religion and cast have their set of beliefs and not every group believe in the same God. Though it is also a strong statement which says 'God is One'. What or Who is God?
Well, God is a supernatural being or force that has made the universe and all the living and non-living things that exist here and has kept them going. Today, we will be talking about different Gods and know how they are different for different groups of people.
1. Lord Ram
I am a beleiver and follower of Lord Ram. He is one of the oldest Gods that the Hindus follow. We have heard and watched his story of life many times, right? It is called 'The Ramayana'. He is known for his adherence to Dharma which is righteousness and moral duty. He followed this path, his entire life as a son, prince, brother, husband and human.

He is one of the most followed God in the entire world. Jesus holds importance in our lives because he guides us towards changing out lives, facing difficulties and moving ahead with confidence. He is a symbol of hope, teaching, peace and penance.
3. Allah
He is mostly followed by the Muslim religion and is one of the most revered deities. It is stated in the Quran that be it general or specific, everything is known to him from the beginning. He has the knowledge of everything ever since the Earth was created and he is the only creator of life.
4. Lord Krishna
He is one of the most powerful Deity. He is 'avatar' of Lord Narayan' who taught the Hindus the way of life through Bhagwat Gita. The Gita states that Shri Krishna is the most influential entity who owns all wealth, all might, all greatness, all phenomena, all knowledge, and all surrender. He has various avatars, people love his childhood avatar which is called as 'Ladoo' or 'Ladoo Gopal'.
5. Lord Shiva
He is another powerful Deity. He is the God of Death and is known to create Lord Vishnu and Brahma. Hindus feel that Lord Shiva’s regimes of demolition and recreation still eliminate the world’s lust and weaknesses, allowing for positive transformation.

He is the son of Lord Shiva with an elephant head. You must have heard the story behind his head! He is worshipped at the beginning of new things and is believed to remove obstacles.

He is said to be maintaining and saving the universe. He is supposed to be taking birth on the Earth to restore the good and end the evil. Vaishnavism, one of the significant Hindu faiths, worships Vishnu as the highest God in the Trimurti, including Brahma and Shiva.

The Hindus worship Goddess Durga who has various names. Goddess Durga represents divine shakti, which fights evil. She shields worshippers against corruption. Multi-limed Durga fights crime on a lion or tiger.
9. Athena
She is the greatest Greek Goddess of all times. She is the patroness of spinning and weaving, but as a logical extension of her patronage of talent, she became allegorized to personify knowledge and morality.
10. Odin
Another popular god is Odin. Odin, the most powerful and beloved Norse god, signifies wisdom, knowledge, healing, death, and war.
